Oak Crest Farm hosts the Bay Country 4-H an all encompasing 4-H club that allows and encourages children to do whatever type of project they want from baking to horses and everthing in between . Every year a group of 4-Hers attend the state and county fairs entering projects, contests, and riding their horses. During the year they do public speaking to help prepare them for later in life.
The 4-H meets every Friday from 6:30 to 8pm during the months of February through August. Dinner is provided. Cost is $10 per person per year. Each Friday they do a project of somesort. There is, generally, no cost to the 4-Her. They have made wooden Kalidescopes, Mother's Day planters, hanging baskets, YoYo's, Tie Dye and weaving just to name a few.
All donations are welcome. If you have a project you would like to teach, let us know.
